（3）BS ISO系列标准

除了BS EN系列标准外，英国还采用了部分ISO电梯标准。现行的BS ISO系列电梯标准见表3。

（3）基础标准较为健全，对电梯的各种重要装置（如操纵装置、指示装置等）和零部件（如导轨、钢丝绳、电缆等）均制定了标准。

4  英国电梯法规与标准的关系
英国标准均属推荐性的，但这些标准一旦被法规引用，被引用的部分或条款即具有与法规相同的法律地位。《HSWA 1974》第53条表明，实务守则包括标准（Standard）、说明（Specification）和其他指南性质的文件（ any other documentary form of practical guidance），说明标准也就是实务守则的一种。
